Weird after taste

I don’t know if this is normal but my sea moss has an aftertaste that won’t go away for a while. The taste of it is also a bit sour. And the consistency changed 2 days after opening, it’s no longer a 100% gellish but runny now. Please let me know if this is normal.

I don’t like pills 💊 much but the fact that I can get sea moss in this gelatinous form and dissolve it in my morning glass of water, is a wonderful gift to me.
